About Summerland Credit Union

Summerland Credit Union is a community-based and customer-owned bank. Since 1964, they have been helping families manage their finances, buy their homes and cars, fund their businesses, insure what’s important to them and grow their wealth.

Summerland Credit Union retain some recruitment processes in-house but were looking for additional support to recruit senior and specialist roles. Based in northern NSW, it was challenging for them to find talent with the skills, experience or qualifications they needed for some of their roles locally.

The high-level roles they needed to fill have included positions such as personal bankers, branch managers, C-Suite executives, lending specialist roles, and branch managers. They had limited time and resources to dedicate to recruitment and wanted to supplement their existing team with additional recruitment and passive attraction expertise.

“We were really please to fill our CEO position using Employment Office’s cost-effective, end-to-end recruitment process. Our account manager keeps us on track and the specialists are knowledgeable. We like to keep certain processes in-house, but when we do work with Employment Office, we retain choice and control.– Donna Kildea, Chief Risk Officer.
